Arsenal’s first season without Arsène Wenger since 1995-96 was always going to be a difficult campaign and, as in the post-Ferguson era at Manchester United, there was always the possibility it was going to end in disaster. Arsenal are fading from top four hopes, but a win against Chelsea would turn things around. Not many fans are finding a lot of confidence in Arsenal right now. Both in the present, and looking into the future, there is turmoil. The club is broke, the results aren’t coming lately, and the hopes of finishing in the top four and getting that necessary financial boost that comes with, are fading.
