Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son will not be available for Tottenham, for today’s clash with Chelsea for Carabao Cup semi-final second leg. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettinory said that if they want they make it to the final they need to be solid, aggressive, offensive and keep our identity. “My players will give their best to be in the final” said Pochettinory. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, on the other hand, quoted that “we need to react on the pitch. The rest is nothing. We discussed with the players how to try to improve the approach, the motivation, the determination”. Sarri was publically criticize his players following last Saturday’s Premier League loss to Arsenal, saying that “a group of players are extremely difficult to motivate”. Could Chelsea find the motivation the need tonight? Could Tottenham be competitive without Harry Kane? We will know in a few hours.
