Fiorentina are undefeated in their last 8 away league matches. They have drawn in four of them. “Viola” will have two players back from their suspensions in the shape of Nikola Milenkovic and Marco Benassi. Spal have drawn their last 6 home for Serie A. A potential draw here, but we think it is more possible to see some goals. And we will go with that.
Bristol City are on a nine-game winning streak in all competitions and they are unbeaten in 15, a run that stretches back to November. They have seen over 2.5 goals in 10 of their last 11 matches against Wolves in all competitions. Wolves are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and have only lost three of their last 13 away from home and they have scored at least 2 goals in 10 of their last 12 matches against Bristol City in all competitions. However, last time they kept a clean sheet on the road was in October.
Valencia have lost just one of their last ten games. They continue to turn things around in LaLiga and also make some progress both in Copa del Rey and in Europa League. Today they are facing Espanyol. They have won 10 of their last 11 home matches against the Catalans in all competitions. Looks like they are going for one more. Espanyol have a disappointing away record, as they failed to win their last 7 away LaLiga matches. Furthermore, they have conceded at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 domestic league matches. A difficult task for them today. Valencia can win.
Inter –Sampdoria. The home team have a nine-game under 2.5 goals streak. On the other hand, Sampdoria’s last 5 away matches have been over 2.5 goals. Inter have a superior squad but… Mauro Icardi was stripped of the captain’s armband in midweek and declined to travel with the team for Thursday’s Europa League match. So they have to put the distractions of Mauro Icardi behind them if they want to win today. And Sampdoria for sure will feel less pressure on them.
In Greece, we have the Olympiakos – AEK clash. AEK Athens are undefeated in their last 5 matches against Olympiacos in all competitions. They have kept a clean sheet in 8 of their last 9 matches league matches. Olympiakos, on the other hand, have scored at least 3 goals in their last 3 home matches. And they have to travel to Ukraine next Thursday for the second leg of the “32” stage of Europa League. We are not sure if they can win today. But it is quite certain that Both Teams can score.
