It goes without saying that Club Brugge are the ultimate underdog in their tie with Salzburg in the Europa League round of “32“. Even if they came from behind to beat 2-1 Salzburg in the first leg. The Austrian side are a real force at home where they are unbeaten for 55 games. They can go for another and extend their row and we think that they can do it in addition with over 2.5 total goals. After all there been over 2.5 goals scored in 6 of Salzburg‘s last 7 games in Europa League.
Eintracht Frankfurt are undefeated in their last 11 matches for Europa League. They are scoring continuously 2 or more goals(in their last 10 games) and in 8 of them, it came them with over 2.5 goals. Shakhtar wants to extend their unbeaten stake at 11 matches. But that won’t be enough for them to qualify. They need to win. In Champions League group stage they did it in just one of the three matches. They didn’t manage to keep a clean sheet in any one of them. We believe the scenery will not change tonight and we will have many goals. We pick the Over 3.5.
Bayer Leverkusen were held to a draw in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League last 32 tie against Krasnodar, with the game ending goalless despite a host of chances for both sides. The German side have won six of their last eight home matches in all competitions. They want to keep on their pace and probably they will. But we won’t bet on it. We find more value to place our bets on goals – over 3.5 goals are a real value bet – so we will go with that. After all, they are two very aggressive teams and another goalless game is almost out of the question.
Galatasaray’s only defeat in their last 12 matches in all competitions came in last week’s meeting with Benfica. And probably this will cost them the qualification to next round. The 2-1 away win was the sixth in a row for the Portuguese. They are unbeaten in Europa League for 10 straight matches. Tonight they are going for another one. We think that they can do it. But not with a clean sheet, even if Galatasaray failed to score a goal in all away matches for Champions League group stage.
Dynamo Kiev – Olympiacos Piraeus is our last pick for today. The two teams played out a 2-2 draw in Greece a week ago and yet another fascinating match is on the horizon. Dynamo Kiev are hoping for a low-scoring encounter as they scored two away goals in the first leg. The thing is that they cannot rely on their defence. Neither Olympiacos. The Greeks need to adopt an attack-minded approach in the return leg if they are to advance to the last 16 of the Europa League. We think that Both Teams can score. Even more than once.
And just because it’s not all about football you can always have some quality time with her Majesty.
