Bayern Munich are full of confidence at the moment. Niko Kovac’s men managed to keep their hopes of winning the Bundesliga title alive. They have closed the gap at the top of the Bundesliga to three points and they managed to keep a clean sheet in Anfield against Liverpool. Hertha Berlin have only lost one of their last five Bundesliga matches, but it’s going to be really tough for them this evening at Munich. Bayern is expected to try to dominate this game from the outset, but we do believe that Herta could score at least once.
Bournemouth had last weekend off and should be well rested for the reception of Wolves this afternoon at Vitality Stadium. Wolves went through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last weekend and will be high on confidence. It is rather hard to predict which side will prevail at this clash, so in order to find a “safe” place to put our money, we will consider dealing with goals. After all Bournemouth have scored at least 2 goals in their last four home matches and Wolves scored over 2.5 goals in their 5 last 6 away game for Premier League.
Swansea progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the weekend when they hammered Brentford 4-1 and Graham Potter will be hoping that his team’s winning form will continue this afternoon also. Sheffield Wed have drawn their last 3 matches but their overall performance is less than encouraging. Can they change it? We think they can. Starting from today. Even they failed to score at their last 3 away matches against Swansea.
Notts County suffered a shocking home defeat on Tuesday with a 4-1 to Newport. So they stayed at the bottom of the table for another week. They need to react fast, but this afternoon might not be the one for them. Tranmere Rovers’ 2-1 victory at Port Vale highlighted just why Micky Mellon’s side remain two places and three points off the play-off places. Tranmere can win, but we think it would be much wiser for as to place our bets at Both Teams To Score.
Sevilla and Barcelona take on each other in the La Liga derby on Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Sevilla need to find a way to transfer their European form to the domestic scene. They have only won two of their last 11 in the league, and now they have to fight if they want to keep their position. Barcelona do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment. They failed to score against Lyonnais last Wednesday, and their mind will be at Madrid and the upcoming “Classicos”. Even though the Catalans undefeated in their last 12 matches, we believe that there is a big value in betting on home win. Or draw. Or a combination of them.
