A very strange match. Aarhus were unlucky not to get into the Championship group, despite posting the same number of points as Nordsjaelland. And they will play at the Relegation Group. You can imagine their frustration. This afternoon they are hosting the Vejle, probably the worst team of the division. They are winless in 19 of their last 21 away ties and lost their last five on the road. The hosts have a great opportunity to begin their relegation round proceedings on the right note. And they will do it. So a home win is predicted here.
Saint-Étienne will face Nimes tonight at the Stade Geoffrey-Guichard. The hosts have a rather poor home record recently with four losses in their last five. They find themselves just one point behind Marseille in 4th so there is still a lot to fight for this season, But they do have to start winning again. And this match could be the one. Nîmes have done a great job in their first year back in Ligue 1 avoiding the relegation. Their main weapon is their offense, but defensive problems will have to be sorted out if they want to claim something from this clash. We predict they won’t. So a home win is possible here.
Aue were unbeaten in 10 of their last 14 matches, and in 16 of their last 22 at home. Aue also managed two or more goals in four of their last seven home fixtures. Tonight they are hosting Dynamo Dresden. The away team are in terrible form on the road. They lost the last three in a row, and are winless in the last five. In their last ten games on the road they won just once. Even worse for them failed to score in their last five straight away games. But we do believe that they can break that streak and score tonight. So we will go with the Both Teams to Score.
Lens will face Le Havre tonight. The visiting team are not in good shape. They have recorded just a single win since January. They have been struggling recently, especially in away ties. Lens, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last five home ties and won four of them. With nine more rounds remaining, it’s crunch time, and every single tie counts. They have recorded two or more goals in four of their last five home ties. A home win is predicted here. Probably an easy one.
Arsenal will host Newcastle at Emirates Stadium tonight, The Gunners will be looking to build on a 2-0 win over Manchester United in their attempt to take a place in the Champions League for next season. The London side seems to be in a great form at the end of the season while they are chasing the Europa League title and placement in Premier League top four teams. Newcastle, on the other hand, are also in good form, at least at the second half of the season. They have secured the Premier League survival, but they just know they have nothing more to claim this year. The lack of motivation and goals for the Magpies is making us to back the home win. Not just a win, but we will seek the Asian Handicap.
