Merry Christmas to all of you! The favorite time of every year is here and between food, drinks and special time with family and friends we also have the boxing day. A busy racing schedule around U.K. is upon us and without further ado let’s go to today’s selections.
It’s no secret that 32Bet.com King George VI Chase is the second most important and prestigious chase in England (and perhaps around the globe too) behind the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Might Bite and Native River face each other again after last year’s Gold Cup, with Politologue and Waiting Patiently ready to test themselves in unknown territory at 3 miles. But it is CONEYGREE, the 11-year that won Gold Cup at 2015 as a novice chaser that catches the eye in current odds. He hasn’t raced many times after that exceptional win but his latest run with top weight in a very competitive handicap at Cheltenham shows there is fire inside him and he may show some of the old spark today.
Earlier at Kempton as well, at 32Bet.com Chase (Novices’ Handicap Chase) it is TURTLE WARS that may have a lot of promise as a chaser. He finished his novice campaign as hurdler with a fifth place in a Grade 3 race and started his chasing career with a fifth place as well with some excuses for it as he was badly hampered by a loose horse twice and still managed to keep his pace. His OR is clearly reflecting this run and at low weights, he is entering calculations.
