But then Madrid just annihilated the Reds. I firmly believe that if Jurgen Klopp didn’t have that rich history with the club, he would be out by now. As for Napoli, they are still the most impressive team in Europe and they should be feared more than their name might suggest.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester City is the game most people will watch and it is the one I used in the title. I will be honest here. It was a bit of a clickbait. Yes, I am going to give an RB Leipzig vs Manchester City prediction, but the match I am going to watch (and where I believe there is greater betting value) is the one in Italy. Inter Milan vs Porto. That’s where I am going to focus. A least more than the other match, RB Leipzig vs Manchester City, which is frankly very hard to read.
Inter Milan vs Porto Prediction
The odds fell victim to the names of the two teams. Inter are the absolute favourite here, according to betting sites. Why? The Nerazzuri are better than what they showed roughly a month ago, but this is a low bar to pass. Simone Inzaghi’s squad is still unstable and unreliable.
And then you have Porto. Coming from a 10-win stretch, with a goal tally of 22-2. Sergio Conceicao’s Porto have an unbelievable run against Italian teams, with 4 wins, 2 draws, and just one (insignificant) defeat. I love the odds of Porto winning or drawing in Milan.
RB Leipzig vs Manchester City Prediction
So there is no Kevin De Bruyne tonight. That’s not good for City. Even when their playmaker is not at his best (as is the case in the past 2 months or so), the Belgian is crucial. Leipzig are great at home and won’t give up so easily. I frankly have no idea what version of Manchester City are we going to watch, but the bottom line is that I don’t care about pre-match odds in this game.
The only bet I am willing to make is Mahrez to find the net. The Algerian is in great form, possibly the only bright side in City’s performance as of late. If he starts, I’m backing him to score.
