Kimmich is what Klopp is searching for – Bayern are willing to sell him

These exits and the cash the team will collect (almost 52 million pounds for both) mean that another addition is more than just preferable. The Reds may not be finished yet as Bayern Munich is ready to listen to offers for Joshua Kimmich.

The Bundesliga champions had a terrible finish in the season, winning the title in the last minutes of the campaign. Thomas Tuchel has decided to restructure the current roster and Kimmich may not be a part of it. The Germans want to free up funds to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham, a transfer that has been discussed for a long time now.

The 28-year-old German international is Bayern’s captain and a leader in the dressing room, but this is not enough for Tuchel to be convinced of his longevity in the club.

Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of his fellow German and can’t say no to a possible transfer to Anfield. The Reds are also interested in Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Moroccan sensation and Fiorentina player, Sofyan Amrabat, but Kimmich’s availability could turn things out in no time.

It will not be that easy, as Man City would also love to add one of Guardiola’s best former players. The Citizens lost Declan Rice to Arsenal, so they are still in search of a prolific midfielder.
