The top free agents this transfer window
The biggest prize of this transfer window has already been claimed. Lionel Messi’s contract ended and he left Paris Saint-Germain for David Beckham’s Inter Miami. There are, however, plenty more great footballers who will be out of contract a the end of June and are looking for their next team. Here are the top 10 free agents in European football this summer.

The most attractive free agents on the market have already agreed terms with their next clubs. Karim Benzema moved to Saudi Arabia, Marco Asensio and Milan Skriniar are about to be signed by PSG, Raphael Guerreiro is going to Bayern, and the list goes on. As for others, like David De Gea and Toni Kroos, there was no drama, as they decided to extend their contracts with Manchester United and Real Madrid respectively.

Thuram joined Gladbach in 2019 and in four years he scored 44 goals in all competitions, establishing himself as a French international. He leaves Borussia and will likely find himself playing for one of Europe’s biggest clubs this coming season. PSG are offered at 8/13 to land him and are overwhelming favourites.

PSG are once again the overwhelming favourites to sign him, at 8/11.

A six-time French Champion, once a Champion of Italy, and one of the best players in the World Cup, last December, Adrien Rabiot is looking for a new club. Chelsea are the most likely candidates to land the Frenchman.

Four years ago, Eden Hazard’s name was mentioned among the world’s greatest footballers. After four pretty catastrophic seasons at Madrid, the Belgian winger mutually terminated his contract with Real and he is on the look for his next club. Last summer, it was Arsenal and Newcastle who were interested in him. This time around, it seems like his destination will be Canada.

Four Champions League titles, three as a captain. Seven league titles. A World Cup and two Euro Championships. Sergio Ramos has had quite a career. Will he now go to Saudi Arabia for one last contract, or will he go back to his boyhood club, Sevilla, as he is one of the few players who have played for the club in the past 20 years but have not won the Europa League.
