Bellingham has decided to sign with Real Madrid

Just a couple of weeks ago we learned that Liverpool pulled out of Jude Bellingham’s saga, as the Reds can’t pay the huge amount of money to seal his signature. This news turned Manchester City and Real Madrid into the ultimate favourites for a summer move. The Borussia Dortmund star and captain would have to choose between these two mega clubs, which are capable of paying over 100 million pounds for him.

And now it is reported that Bellingham decided that Real Madrid is the option that suits him better for his future. Negotiations between the club and Borussia Dortmund are expected to start in the coming days. Merengues aim only for a long-term plan including Edouardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni in the midfield. Vinicius, Valverde and Rodrygo are what the fans would hope for the years to come, while all these players are ready to compete for their second Champions League in a row.

Despite all of Manchester City’s late efforts to earn his signatures, Bellingham knows far too well where he wants to compete next season. A transfer to Manchester under the guidance of Pep Guardiola could be very tempting for an English player who wants a solid project, but only a few players denied the opportunity to play for Real Madrid in the past.

The bidding war is only positive news  for the German team, which is ready to demand more in the next months. It is very rare to have such a talented player in the club and Borussia can only dream of a huge cash flow. Real have already had direct contact with the player’s family in Madrid last month. The player needs to focus only on Dortmund’s chances to lift the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2011/2012.
