Dybala’s clause is a joke - He is heading to Chelsea

Many top clubs around Europe watched his recent great performances under Jose Mourinho at Roma and want him to be part of their project. The 29-year-old attacker had some fantastic displays last season, scoring in the Europa League final, despite his team losing to Sevilla.

Pochettino is a huge admirer of his compatriot so he communicated with the club, asking specifically for this addition. Chelsea want more information on the player’s status, considering triggering the release clause in a chance to move ahead of Man United, Tottenham and many Saudi clubs. The Argentinian manager did whatever possible to bring Dybala to London during his time in Tottenham (Dybala was a Juventus player) but with any success.

Paulo Dybala joined Roma on a free transfer last season, netting 12 times and providing 6 assists for his teammates in 26 Serie A appearances. He also was a valuable member of the Argentinian national team during their fantastic route in Qatar, where they lifted the World Cup for the third time in their history. It is wise to be added that in Roma are calm on these rumours, believing that Dybala will stay with them, despite the Premier League sirens.

His transfer to Chelsea can solve many problems for Pochettino, who saw a great bargain now that the club has many financial instabilities. It is interesting to see how the roster will be shaped until the first whistle of the season.
