His value has already reached the top level in the transfer market, as Barcelona could ask for almost 100 million pounds. The Uruguayan could walk for nothing in the summer because his new contract with Barca is still not being arranged, United reportedly hope to sign him for free.

All these speculations mean that there will be a busy summer for the club. Man United has the chance to lure some of the best players in the world, adding some valuable pieces to what Ten Hag has in mind for a proper team.
