The Kim Kardashian Curse! PSG suffers shocking defeat

Kim Kardashian attended Arsenal’s game against Sporting Lisbon a few days ago. The Gunners lost on penalties and left out of the Europa League quarter-finals. Arsenal fans, who have fallen victim to the “Drake Curse”, accused the American reality TV star of jinxing their team. It looks like the Kardashian Curse is real, as Sunday she attended Paris Saint-Germain’s home defeat to Rennes.

PSG had not lost a single Ligue 1 match at home in 715 days. The last time the Parisiens lost in the Parc des Princes for the league was on the 3rd of April 2021, to Lille, a result that ultimately gave the Lillois the title, one point clear of the Qatar-owned superteam.

After 35 consecutive league games without defeat, PSG lost to Rennes, while Kim Kardashian was watching from a Parc des Princes, holding a Neymar shirt. The Brazilian (who was recently accused of sexually harassing twin volleyball players) is injured and will miss the rest of the season, but Mbappe and Messi were there. They were just unable to help their team avoid defeat.

The Drake Curse

PSG fans know a thing or two about celebrity curses, as their team is one of those affected by the Drake Curse. A curse that is much more severe, as there is a trend (at least there was back in 2019) that every athlete he was photographed with, was getting injured. It happened to Serena Williams, it happened to Conor MvGrefor, it happened to Johnny Manziel, it happened to Sergio Aguero.

Let’s see if the Kim Kardashian curse will prove as strong as Drake’s.
